1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using Stirring Stories ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age where you live) to use the Service. You may delete your account at any time.

3. Your content

Recipes, photos, comments, and other material you post ("Your Content") remain yours. By posting, you grant Stirring Stories a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and share Your Content within the Service so it can function. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you post. You may remove Your Content at any time.

4. Acceptable use

We may suspend or remove accounts or content that violate these Terms.

5. Food safety & allergen disclaimer

Stirring Stories is a recipe-sharing platform, not a source of professional dietary, medical, or food-safety advice. Recipes and allergen tags are provided by members and by automated detection that may be incomplete or wrong. Always independently verify ingredients, allergens, and safe cooking practices before preparing or eating any dish. You assume all risk associated with preparing and consuming recipes found on the Service. Stirring Stories is not liable for any allergic reaction, illness, injury, or damage arising from use of any recipe or information on the Service.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stirring Stories and its owner(s) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or US $50.

8. Payments

Paid plans (Pro, Premium) are billed through PayPal, our third-party payment processor. Payment details are handled entirely by PayPal and are covered by PayPal's own privacy policy; we never see or store your card number. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. You can cancel a subscription at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period.
